Top Canadian Institution, Carleton University is offering scholarship to outstanding students from African Nations to study in any field of their choice.
The scholarship was first awarded in 2005 in honor of the 10th president of the institution, Richard J. Van Loon by friends and family.

The 1st day of February 2023 has been chosen as the deadline for the scholarship application.

The scholarship is designed for students from all African countries.

The scholarship is available to students who are undergraduates or seek to add the Master’s to their portfolio.

The scholarship is worth a total of $5,000.
Eligibility
To be eligible, you:
- must be a citizen of an African country.
- must be an international student, who is required to have a valid Study Permit for Canada.
- must be registered as a full-time student at Carleton University and successfully proceed from one year to another in any program of study.
- must be in good academic standing.
