DATA TRANSFER GUIDE
To transfer data from your line to another, follow the steps outlined;
- Ensure you have an active data plan
- Dial *141#
- Select 6 – Gifting & Sharing
- Select 4 – Data Me2U
- Select 2 – Send Me2U from Existing Allowance
- Enter Recipient’s Number
- Enter Data Allowance
- Enter PIN
- Send
At a time, the maximum amount of data that can be transferred is 200MB, and the maximum number of users that can be transferred to is limited to 2 per Day
DATA SHARING GUIDE
Data Sharing & Transfer are two different acts in all entirety. However, sharing of data which is also known as AIRTEL Smartshare or AIRTEL Data Me2U is done by;
- Send SHARE TO 121
- Wait for a message which will enable you to add numbers to share data with
- Send “ADD RECIPIENT’s NUMBER” to 121 e.g ADD O123456789 to 121
- You will receive a message, press 1 to confirm
NOTE: AIRTEL Data Transfer Default Pin is 1234 and can be changed by dialing *141#, selecting 6 – Data Sharing & Gifting, and selecting 1 – Change Pin
